Social Media Manager
Want to join our team? We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can create connections, run marketing campaigns, enjoys networking, is a people person and can work steadily on their own. Our office is LGBTQ+ affirming and our team is also diverse. Most importantly, you need to be excited about natural hair products and hair.
Job duties include:
Creating social media content and posting regularly
Creating lasting partnerships with new and old contacts by reaching out to salons, conferences, bloggers, etc.
Creating & maintaining our listserv
Developing messages for PR & branding
Writing press releases, promoting and networking
Writing blog posts if and when necessary
Developing strategies for managing and growing market awareness
Distributing sales & marketing materials
Tabling at events
Participating in scheduled team meetings
You should apply if:
You live in the greater Philadelphia area and can commit to up to 20 hours per week in an office space. You like outreach, people, organizing, marketing and some sales. You are comfortable writing and thinking on your feet. You have a knowledge base of marketing tools and resources. You are innovative and comfortable creating systems of processes for a budding business. You are excited about people, networking and making connections. You are able to manage an advertising budget and use analytics to the advantage of your daily work. You have more than a basic knowledge of hair types and hair products. You can wear multiple hats. You own your own portable work computer.
