HOW TO: Using a Hair Oil When Straightening Your Locks

With so many hair products out on the market, it can be tough to remember how to use each one and when you even should.

If you want sleek straight hair, will a cream achieve that? Should you use mousse for luscious curls? What does a hair oil do, and how many products should you use in one go?

There are a lot of questions to answer before you even get out of the door in the morning – and that’s where Nuele comes in. We’re your one-stop-shop, have-it-all hair product.

From curls to straight, you can achieve it all with Nuele. Below are our top tips for using a hair oil when straightening your locks.

Wash Those Locks:

Before we even start, we want to lock in the moisture and keep your hair strong, nourished and beautifully shiny.

Straight after you hop out of the shower, grab a towel and dry your hair – damp is the best starting base here. This not only nourishes your hair with the natural moisture but protects it from any heat you might put your hair through to dry, and ultimately straighten.

Use the Right Amount:

The amount of product you use is a huge part of how successful the look is – and it’s going to be different for every hair type, sorry girls!

While we can’t give you a one-size fits all measurement, we have a cheeky trick up our sleeves.

If you would categorize your hair as:

Wavy, use 1-2 pumps!

Curly, use 2-4 pumps!

Coily, use 3-6 pumps!

Then have at it – you can trust that your hair is protected and nourished while you straighten your hair.

Top it Up:

Once you’ve got the look you’re aiming for, remember to throw Nuele into your bag before you run out the door! You can apply us lightly throughout the day to ensure your hair stays hydrated, nourished and sleek – whatever the weather.

And if nothing else, we smell good too!
